The tradition began its humble course in 1981, on the dreams of Wayne and Margi Cook. The Cooks were spending their summer season in a small RV camper parked in the adjoining campground, while they operated a small motorbike tour business. When the nearby ‘Chicken Shak Restaurant’ failed and became available, Wayne and Margi grabbed the opportunity to become pizza restaurateurs– Wayne would toss the pizzas, Margi would ring up the orders and serve the pizzas– and “We Cook Pizza” was born.
We Cook Pizza and Pasta menus have adapted to the changes of the times. Our menu includes multiple varieties and endless combinations of fresh, handmade pizzas, prepared to order, as well as fresh harvest garden salads, homemade sumptuous pasta dishes, “world famous” hot chicken wings, and a variety of refreshing beverages, all prepared for quick, contactless and convenient take away.

We Cook Pizza and Pasta is located near the north end of Tusayan. If you are returning from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, it is located on your left just after the first traffic circle next to the Tusayan General Store.
Three couples visited this restaurant for lunch. We went back again since the food and service was so outstanding. Tony and Katrina went out of their way to make sure our experience was a GREAT one. We would all highly recommend anyone visiting the Grand Canyon South Rim to be sure and make this restaurant part of your “must do’s!!” A big thanks to Tony and Katrina for taking such good care of your new Canadian friends….mmmmmmmmmmmmm great pizza too!
